Database Relations

Notion’s databases can be linked (related), which is a powerful way to keep track of various information efficiently and effectively. As you slowly add more information to the various databases, this power grows.

For example, , you will be able to pull up a faculty member’s record and see, in one place:

• their contact and related information
• the CEL course(s) they taught
• the Programs they led
• the Center training they attended
• the Center funding they received
• the Engagements their courses and programs were linked to
• the student and community partner (and even their own) reflections on those engagements
• the accomplishments related to the Engagements linked to their course(s)

Similar views can be created with students and staff, including with community partner organizations.

From this data, you will be able to generate progress and annual reports to tell the story of your center’s work.
